While we love the sparkle and pomp that comes with holiday dressing, we've grown weary of the ubiquitous stilettos-and-cocktail-dress pairing. This year, we're channeling the spirit of a young Courtney Love with feminine velvet, sequins and floral dresses — teamed with cardigans (naturally), Dr. Martens and big-and-bad biker boots. Because hanging tough has never felt so right.
