Some people dream of one day seeing their name in lights. I’d probably settle for a photo of myself gracing the label of an outstanding bottle of wine.
At last night’s Decadestwo pop-up event, hosted by Post26 in Brentwood, we met Michele, a 21-year-old Napa Valley native who models in London when she’s not working for the family’s NorCal wine business—and serving as cover model for the labels.
The wine she’s holding is Lorenza, a superb rosé that never swerves into sickeningly sweet (it’s also Michele’s middle name). ”I think I’d rather be doing this,” she says of winemaking. “It’s nice to be actually making something.” The D2 event runs through Sunday.
