L.A.’s Gilt Groupe is betting on the digital money-maker du jour, the iPhone application.
Today, the member’s only shopping site launched Gilt on the Go — a free iPhone app that lets users preview, shop and purchase looks on the fly.
Available via iTunes, Gilt on the Go sends sale alerts straight to your phone, so you can beat Sally Spastic to the punch on that Trina Turk tote even if you’re in the middle of, say, baking a souffle or para-sailing. Because red-hot sales wait for no woman.
