Street Style: Nylon Music Issue Party

Nylon magazine throws a party to celebrate their music issue. We brought our camera.

Nylon magazine always throws a good gig. And, as of late they throw a lot of them. In the past few months, they've celebrated their 11th anniversary (random number, yes. But we won't question reasons to host an open bar), partnered with YouTube to honor Young Hollywood and, last night, feted their latest music-themed issue with an M.I.A-hosted fiesta at Skybar. With all these big-budget blasts, you'd think the magazine industry was big oil.

We stopped by — camera in hand — to capture the insane fashion Nylon always seems to bring out (hey, the one-time underground rag may no longer be considered "Indie" in any way, shape or form but — luckily — someone forgot to tell the guests). And, minus one annoying run in with the local fire marshall and a cloud of noxious B.O. that seemed to fill the air (we're lucky to have made it out alive), we were not disappointed.

In honor of M.I.A's cover, aptly titled "Rebel Rebel," we asked guests about their biggest bad-ass moment of all time. This is what they said.
