Street Style: East Side Cafes
L.A.'s East Side is famous for its street fashion — and nowhere is it on better display than at the coffee huts dotting its neighborhoods. From Silver Lake's Intelligentsia to downtown's Groundwork Coffee, the sunny patios of these indie destinations are always spilling over with tastemakers in casual-cool gear that ranges from punked-up preppy to pretty-as-a-picture prairie (though American Apparel, not surprisingly, seems to be the common denominator). We cornered some of the best-dressed for a quick tête-à-tête.
